When Leo Vogel, our company’s founder, returned in 1946 from military service in WWII and started his new company, his focus from day one was to provide a quality product, quality service, and to stand behind that product and service over the long term for his customers. We credit much of the company’s long success to that basic business principal, and proudly carry on that tradition today.
The first absolutely necessary component to make the execution of such a bold mission statement is the commitment of management to the mission, and it can best be measured outwardly by the customer thru a company’s longevity and track record. Vogel’s commitment to excellence has withstood the test of time as we have operated as a family owned and operated business for over 62 years. There are only a handful of HVAC companies in the entire Metro St. Louis Area who can honestly boast the longevity and success of Vogel.

Union labor is not cheapest route to staffing a labor force, but in the case of Local 36 Sheet Metal Workers it is the best. Thru training they develop the best technicians available. Thru pay and benefits, they retain the best technicians available. To be the best company first you must employ the best.
